Please do not submit material that has been previously published.

Every submission must include a Conditions for Publication form signed by all authors and the following:

  • Title
  • Submission Type—Indicate the type of CTSNet content you are submitting. For example: Thoracic Expert Technique, Video Gallery, Case of the Month, etc.
  • Authors—List a maximum of  six authors in the order they should appear including for each: first name, family name, highest degree, and institutional affiliation (including department, if applicable).
  • Corresponding Author—Provide the name, telephone number, and e-mail address of the author to whom communications should be directed.
  • Announcement Text—200-character (including spaces and punctuation) or less description of the content to be used for an announcement on the CTSNet Home Page.
  • Subject/Classification Terms—One or more terms from the CTSNet Content Subject Classification list that identify the primary subject category of the content.
  • Disclosure—Include disclosure information if it is applicable.
  • Content Format—A Microsoft Word document with figure and video (if included) locations denoted in the text with figure legends at the end of the text. Each figure must have an accompanying explanatory legend and or be clearly labeled.
  • Figure/Image—Submit images as JPG files. The size of the files is unimportant, assuming they are of adequate pixel density to render well on the screen. Large files can always be converted to smaller files, so file size should not be a concern of the author, although bigger (600 x 400 pixel range) is preferable to smaller. Images that are embedded in a file, such as a Microsoft Word document, are not acceptable.
  • Video—Videos should be brief and clear and should be prepared as per CTSNet Video Submission Instructions.

Your material must contain no specific patient information and must be HIPPA compliant. For example, patient name or hospital identification numbers should not appear in images of radiographs, slides, or film.

For each copyrighted/previously published item (artist illustrations, images from books, cartoons, etc.) you must obtain written permission from the publisher and supply copies of permissions with your submission.

The signed Conditions for Publication form, permission letters and other supplemental material should accompany the submission. Submissions will not be considered for publication until all of the required information and documents have been received. Send all related content and documents to:
